Ray Saft started gunsmithing in 2014 and graduated in 2017 with an Associate of Applied Sciences in Gunsmithing. From there, he went on to briefly work in firearms retail and two years as a machinist. A strong background in metalworking and love for hunting lead him to pursue precision rifles. The initial concept was to make very accurate hunting rifles by combining benchrest gunsmithing techniques with high quality, hunting weight components. To facilitate this goal he studied under prize winning gunsmith Gordy Gritters and benchrest Hall of Famer Thomas “Speedy” Gonzales. Now drawing techniques from these famous gunsmiths and some of his own, Ray crafts top quality rifles to fit your needs.
